About Ken Burke

Ken has been a professional designer for over 20 years. His work has been seen on billboards, newspapers, magazines, and TV commercials in the Houston area. Ken was born and has lived in the Houston area his entire life. He graduated from Hargrave High School in Huffman, and attended the University of Houston and is currently attending Arizona State.

His first paying job as a designer was at the age of 15, when he was commissioned to hand-letter special event posters for Atascocita Country Club. Since then he has worked on projects as a Multimedia Designer for companies in oil and gas, health care, retail, food service, automotive, real estate and entertainment.

Ken has won numerous awards, ranging from the Houston Livestock Show Rodeo Art program as a teen, to Addy awards while employed as Senior Art Director at a Houston area advertising firm. Ken and his wife, Mary, live in Kingwood with their two rescue mutts. He enjoys military history, building furniture, playing guitar, and painting.
